Simple Apple Pie Recipe for a Winter Dessert

 

Granny Smith Apple Pie 

INGREDIENTS 


Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
Thaw pie and pie crust for about 15-20 minutes 

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Wash and carve apple skin out
  2. Cut into 6 slices per apple 
  3. Heat non stick pan with butter until slight smoke
  4. Add and stir in apples
  5. Add and stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and sugars, mix well 
  6. Mix cornstarch and water, add into pan to thicken the filling 
  7. Heat for a few minutes until fully mixed 
  8. Add vanilla extract as final ingredient 
  9. Add mix into pie pan 
  10. Evenly spread apples in pan 
  11. Place one sheet of pie crust over the pan 
  12. Glaze melted butter over the pie crust 
  13. Seal the edges of pan 
  14. With a fork, puncture the crust over the pie 
  15. Bake for 45 minutes 
  16. Let sit for about 30 minutes
